Islamic and Arabic teachers
Teachers Job Description The Islamic and Arabic teachers are responsible
for the effectiveness of the academic programs and teaching materials. Their main
duties include:
- Delivering lessons to students according to the plan of the Academy and insuring
that curricular expectations and goals are achieved.
- Maintaining learning, fun and caring environment that nurtures children and parents,
and reflects Islamic values.
- Preparing first / final exams, quarterly tests, projects, worksheets and grading
rubrics.
- Communicating with subject coordinator in professional manner; ex: proofreading
tests, any curriculum issues, class rules, and testing standards.
- Attending Parent-Teacher interviews, meetings, Professional Development sessions
and other relevant functions.
- Submitting report cards, notes to parents, yearly plans, weekly lesson plans, attendance
sheets and other relevant papers.
- Communicating with parents and answering their questions in professional manner.
- Acting as a role-model for students in dress code and behaviour.
